Well I am currently in a relationship with the BF for the past 13 months and counting. We broke up for a period of 3 or 4 weeks (so essentially, a month) around the end of February. The reason for that? The BFF.
Details for everything I suppose will follow if I keep this blog up. For now, all that is relevant is that I realized the BFF crush was only a phase. I don't regret breaking up with the BF, because I am now more certain than ever I want to be with him. The BFF never knew of the crush and our relationship is the same as ever. No harm, no foul. I simply took some time to myself to re-evaluate my relationship with both the BF and BFF and in the end decided that the BF was the one for me.
Other guys in my past have included the asshole ex, the summer fling and my puppy love. Oh yes, and that one guy I dated in grade 9 for a month that still pops up from time to time.
I have only dated two guys seriously and slept with three guys in total. Some may consider me inexperienced and have so much to learn. Trust me, with those three guys it was enough drama to last a lifetime. It's hard to believe I am only 20. It only gets better right?
For now, I am extremely happy with the BF. We are planning to go down to Chicago next week and I am so excited for that. I just stayed over at his place for the weekend since his mom is on vacation (yes we both live at home. We're university students, what do you expect? =P). It'll be nice to get away before I start working full time and to be honest after this last year, we really do need a vacation.
